MAYBELLINE LASH SENSATION LASH MULTIPLYING MASCARA

I have heard a lot of mixed reviews about this product, and some people love it and some hate it. I am actually really loving this mascara and I usually buy Rimmel mascaras as my drugstore favourite but I saw a couple of bloggers review this and said it was amazing so I wanted to try it for myself.

I have quite long lashes so I'm quite fortunate that I don't have to always wear mascara, especially during the day. But most of the time I do wear mascara and I find it so difficult to find a reasonably priced mascara that I can wear on a regular basis. Also, because I do have long lashes it means that I usually stay away from mascaras that will make them look even longer. I'm also quite fortunate that I don't have to wear mascara on my bottom lashes because they are also fairly long and if I was to wear mascara on my bottom lashes then I end up looking like a panda. So I went into Boots the other day as I had just run out of my Rimmel mascara and I was going to buy the same one which has argan oil included (the mascara in the bronze packaging). But I decided that I would try a mascara from Maybelline and I am really impressed so far with it.
This mascara cost £7.99 which is the normal price for drugstore mascaras. I must admit I was drawn in by the packaging and I just love the pearlescent pink tone to the packaging and I just really liked it. I didn't buy it to get more volume or make my lashes longer, I just wanted to try it out. I have been wearing it for the last few days and I am pretty impressed with it. The formulation is amazing and I found that its not clumping to the brush, which was a problem with my old Rimmel mascara. What I love the most about this mascara is that it does add volume, definition and the best thing is that it doesn't run or smudge.

The wand is rubber which can sometimes be a problem because you often find that it will lack volume, but this is not the case with this mascara. I also like the fact that the brush part is slightly curved which helps to separate the lashes and to make sure that each lash is evenly coated. Also I have found that the brush will hold a lot of mascara so sometimes I have added way too much and then had to wipe my mascara off and start all over again.

I only have one small criticism about this mascara, and it's the fact that if you apply one coat of mascara and then immediately want to go back over your lashes then you can't. I went out for dinner a couple of nights ago and I wore this mascara and I added one coat and I realised that I wanted a more dramatic look so I tried to add another coat of mascara and then it just clumped together and I couldn't fix it without removing all my eye makeup. I think the first coat of the mascara had slightly dried so I think that caused my lashes to clump together but it was a pain having to remove all of my makeup. Also, you have to make sure that you remove the mascara completely before you go to bed, because I must have left some of the mascara still on and the next morning I woke up with black smudges under my eyes from where I had rubbed my eyes in my sleep. So I have to use a few more facial wipes to remove the mascara but I think it is worth it because I absolutely love this mascara.

I think this is my new favourite mascara and I will definitely be buying this mascara again as I am absolutely in love with it.
