It is officially the first day of 2016 and I hope you all had a great New Years Eve. I don't usually put much effort into New Years Eve because usually I just can't be bothered to go out but this year I actually went to a party with my friends and family and it was amazing. I actually wrote the resolutions a few days ago because I didn't know how I was going to feel today and I actually could have done the whole post today but I didn't want to forget anything. A lot of my friends make New Year's Resolutions and I use to make them when I was younger and they would be silly ones like becoming rich and becoming an actress. But for the last few years I have not really had any resolutions and I haven't written them down at least and I have found that my resolutions are a lot more practical now that I'm 20. I had an incredible 2015, and it has shaped who I want to be in the future. Yes I had some lows in 2015 but I had some incredible highs like starting this blog which I didn't think one person would look at let alone almost 2,000 so I'm extremely grateful to all of you, plus I finished my second year at University and I am now in my third year and looking to see what I do after University.
Like I said my resolutions for this year are a lot more practical and some revolve around my blog and my future career and then there is always one resolution that I have which deals with my amazing family and friends. So here are a few of my resolutions that I came up with and would like to share with you as well.
My first resolution for 2016 is something that means a lot to me which is that my family and friends all stay safe and well. I have this resolution every year because all of them are so important to me and I want them to have an incredible 2016 and to stay healthy and be happy!!
Secondly, I really want to do well with my overall degree. I study law at University and I am in my final year and I have pressures of final assignments and exams coming up and I would love to do well and hopefully finish with a 2:1 which would be an incredible way to finish my incredible three years at University!!
Thirdly, I can't forget my blog. I want to carry on blogging this year and hopefully make this bigger and better. I also want to stick to my schedule which I will definitely be able to do after I finish University. I have a few friends who do this as well and they can't believe how many people read my blog and I can't believe it as well. I thought I would get 100 views by the end of 2015 and to end this year with almost 2,000 is incredible and to have people from Australia, America, Kenya, Malaysia, the UK, Germany, France and so many other countries is incredible and I'm so grateful.
My fourth resolution is that I get to study the LPC in London, so this will affect my future career. I have wanted to be a lawyer since I was 12 years old and it is still something that I want to do as well as carrying on with this blog.
My fifth resolution is for me to be happy in my personal and professional life, because 2015 was great but there was some major lows and it got me down and I just want to be happy and get to carry on with the things I love.
Finally, I want all of you to be happy in 2016 and I wish that all of you have an incredible 2016 and carry on reading my blog. Hopefully in the future I will have giveaways and things like that!!
