LUSH HAUL

I always love Lush products and it is the one shop that I could spend a fortune in but I try and avoid going in on a regular basis just so I don't spend a lot. However, I will go in every month and buy a few products that catch my eye and the six products I got a couple of weeks ago definitely did that. Usually I always get bath bombs but this time I got a mixture of bath oils, bubble bars, bath bombs and even a soap. These are all products that are new to me besides the Flowering Tea Reusable Bubble Bar which I have had in the past and is a favourite of mine. I must admit some of the scents are not my favourite and take some time to get use to but I mainly purchased these products because I loved the design of them and just thought they would look really pretty in my bath. These are all really affordable as well with the cheapest product being £2 and the most expensive being £4.95.

One of my favourite products to get from Lush is the Flowering Tea Reusable Bubble Bar. It is just one of the smartest designs for a bubble bar because it does look like a tea bag. I love the fact that it is also reusable and the final time you use it loads of flower petals come out of it. The smell won't be for everyone and I do remember the first time I smelt it and I wanted to throw it away but the scent has really grown on me and I always need to have one of these bubble bars in my bathroom. This is the only product that repurchased because I wanted to try out some products that were either new or I had never tried before and wanted to see what they were like.

I have never purchased bath oils from Lush before but I have heard some really good things about them from family and friends as well as reading other blogs. So I wanted to buy some but the only one I could find at the time in my local store was these Floating Island Bath Oils and I did buy two because I love the smell of these. They are not very pretty to look at but the smell is incredible and I am so excited to try these out because I love them and I think they will be my new favourite product from Lush. I also like the fact that these Bath Oils are not too greasy and they didn't melt in my hand which I quite liked.

I also got the Creamy Candy Bubble Bar. I think when I went in to Lush I got very excited with all the pink products they were selling and I saw this and just chucked it in my basket and now I am slightly regretting buying it. When I first picked it up I thought it smelled really nice and reminded me of the sweet Fruit Salad. Now I still think it smells like that but after going back home and smelling it again there is a really strange smell to it and I can't describe it but for me it smells like there is an underlying scent of sweat mixed with a Fruit Salad sweet. I just don't know if I want my bath to smell like that but I will try it out and let you know and I hope that my bath doesn't smell of sweat. Also it crumbles so easily and if I dropped it, it would smash into so many pieces, which you want is a bubble bar but I don't want it to be too soft that it just crumbles in my hand. It apparently is a new formula so that might be what is supposed to happen but I don't think I will repurchase this one.

I got two bath bombs which are beautiful but I'm slightly regretting because once again I am not keen on the smell of them. When I smelt them in the store I loved them and then I got back home and I cannot stand them. I am hoping that I will get use to the smell and they will hopefully smell better when I put them in my bath. The first one I picked up is the Rose Bombshell which has such a beautiful design and it is pink with roses on the outside. However, it does smell of roses and it reminds me of the smell of the old-fashioned potpourri. It just doesn't smell nice so I might give it to my Nannie because she might like it more than I do. But really I don't like the smell of it and I wish I had got another product instead. The second bath bomb I got is the Sakura bath bomb. I like the simplicity of the design with the pink and blue specks in it, and I don't mind the scent of it. It's not my favourite and I still have Lush products that smell a lot better than this one but I can tolerate it more than the Rose Bombshell. I'm not sure if I would repurchase this one just because there are other bath bombs that I love more but it is an unusual smell and I cannot figure out what it smells like. I also like the fact that it doesn't smell too much of flowers, unlike the Rose Bombshell, because I would not be able to stand that smell.

The final product I got was the Roses All The Way Soap and this was a product that I saw and was instantly drawn too and then put it straight in my basket because of the design. Luckily I also like the smell of it, even though it has rose oil in it, it doesn't smell too strong and it's not as overwhelming as the Rose Bombshell Bath Bomb. I just thought this was a product for Valentine's Day and I had no clue that it was inspired by Alice in Wonderland. The concept is that the more you use the soap, the redness will fade away until you are left with a white rose. This is to represent the scene in Alice in Wonderland where the Queen of Hearts makes her Knights paint all the white roses red. I thought this was such a cute and clever interpretation of such a classic, and I really like the concept. I haven't used it yet because I wanted to wait until I had written this blog post. However, I don't really want to use it because I think it is so sweet and it would be such a perfect present for a friend or for your Mum for Mother's Day. I just really love this product and hope that Lush keeps selling these because I always want one in my bathroom. I have never tried the soap from Lush before so I am really interested to see whether it is any good or not.
