WHAT'S IN MY MAKEUP BAG ...

One of my very first blog posts was what was in my makeup bag and I thought I would do a more updated version. If you go back to my old post you will see that there is only one product that I still use although I do sometimes still wear the Rimmel match perfection concealer and foundation. I also thought I would include products that I use everyday. I like most beauty bloggers have quite a collection of makeup, whether it is high end or drug store but we all have those products that we use on a regular basis. So I thought I would show you what I wear most days for a natural look. I will also include links to all the products that I can find below so you can buy the same products. I have a mixture of drugstore beauty and then two palettes from Urban Decay which I have been loving recently. I'm not going to write a review on every piece of makeup because it would be way too long but I have written about some of them in past blog posts. I also want to quickly mention my new makeup bag that I recently got and am absolutely in love with. Its from Monsoon and I picked it up when I was having some gifts for my Mum wrapped up and I absolutely loving it. It's actually from Accessorise but it is the sister brand of Monsoon. It is actually fairly big and is great for travelling and the print is just so girly and definitely me. Plus it was only £12 which I don't think is too bad for  a cosmetics bag.

I didn't want to do a review of every product, like I've already said, because it would be way too long and also I have reviewed some of the products like the Urban Decay palettes already on my blog. This is what I use almost every day and it is always in my makeup bag. Three of my favourite products at the moment has got to be the brow pencil and eyeliner from Soap and Glory and the Collection concealer. I know the concealer is a massive favourite for bloggers and YouTubers and I have recently started loving it again. Also, I have been buying quite a lot of the Soap and Glory makeup recently because it has been offer at Boots and it's just slightly cheaper. The product that I will always repurchase if the Soap and Glory brow tint and pencil, this is amazing even if you aren't great ay doing your brows. I have tried to use cheaper brow pencils from Rimmel and other drugstore brands and I just couldn't make them look good. Whereas, with the Soap and Glory pencil I have always managed to make the look symmetrical and fuller. It is a double-ended pencil with a felt tip to fill in the brows and then a pencil/crayon to make the look fuller and to shape them. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone and is a must-have in my makeup bag. All the other products I use are amazing as well and I have used for a few months now. The only product that I have only just recently been using is the Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation which I got a week ago, so I'm still trying it out but my first impressions of it are really good. I might in the next few weeks have a blog post up reviewing and comparing foundations from some of the major drugstore brands.

As you can see I don't have much in my makeup bag because I like to keep my makeup fairly natural, I might do a high-end beauty bag in the near future but that won't be for a couple of months. These are really my essentials and they will always be in my main makeup bag, especially when I go travelling. I'm actually in London at the moment and when I got to my friends we went straight out for dinner, so it was handy having my makeup bag in my handbag so I could quickly touch up my makeup.

I hope you are all having a great Sunday and I will have another post up on Wednesday where I am planning on doing more of a fashion post.
